A former Branchville officer is dealing with prices of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and giving beer to a minor.
The S.C. Regulation Enforcement Division charged Damien Desray Hartwell, 27, of Walterboro, on Wednesday.
The Branchville Police Division terminated Hartwell on Monday for allegedly “mendacity about contributing to the delinquency of a minor,” in accordance with data obtained from the S.C. Felony Justice Academy.
Hartwell’s warrants allege he was working at his secondary job at a Branchville gasoline station on Might 21 when, simply earlier than 9:30 p.m., he “overheard a telephone dialog that the juvenile was having with a buddy, additionally a minor.”
